| Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport or IGI as it is popularly known is one of the country's busiest traveler entry points linking the whole of north and northwest India to the rest of the world. It has two terminals namely Terminal 1 (domestic) and Terminal 2 (international).
While Terminal 1, also known as Palam Domestic airport, is the old airport with all basic facilities catering to the domestic flights within India, about 12 kilometers from the city center, Terminal 2, about 19 kilometers away from the city center, is the new and modern airport, equipped with all modern facilities, dealing with all international flights to and from the capital. Both the terminals are linked with free frequent bus services for the travelers. |
