Shopping in Chennai is like shopping in any other major
metropolitan city. However, Chennai has two main shopping
areas: Anna Salai and Parry's Market. In both these places,
one can find just about everything the could want, from books
to out-borad motors. There are a number of handicraft stores,
such as the Govt. Emporium and Poompuhar, both in Anna Salai.
Furthermore, there are numerous shops around the major landmarks
of the city selling curios and souvenirs.
