One of the main tourist attractions in Varca Beach is the dolphin-spotting trip. Boat rides are arranged for watching the dolphins. The ride can be booked for and it takes the tourists a little bit far into the sea for spotting the dolphins. Besides spotting the dolphins, a few lucky ones may even end up touching the dolphins, if they appear so close by. This is most certainly a delightful ride and hence quite popular among the tourists. Boat rides are also available along the nearby River Sal. Varca also has along array of wooden boats, along the beachside, belonging to the fishermen in Varca.
Varca Beach is a popular tourist destination and hence there is no dearth of food joints on the beach. It has numerous beach shacks serving typical Goan cuisine. As it is for any other beach in Goa, Varca Beach is also famous for the delectable seafood served in these beach shacks. There are also a few good restaurants along the main road. Hence food is never a problem in Varca. Tourists who want to visit Varca can come down to Dabolim by air or else to Margao by train, and then hire a taxi down to Varca. Margao is quite well connected to Varca and has numerous buses to Varca beach. Autos can also be hired to travel down to Varca.
The clean white sand of the beach is what attracts most of the tourists to the Varca Beach. Make sure you visit Varca beach next time you are in Goa. The tranquil little beach is a nice place to spend the holidays. The delightful dolphin spotting trips just add to the charm of this pristine beach.
