The Great Himalayan National Park is located in Kullu, and offers numerous opportunities to experience the natural environment of the western Himalayan region. The Sai Ropa is spread over 3 hectares area and a building housing two dormitories, Forest Rest House. It also has a photo exhibition, conference room with projection facilities. In the similar way the center at Larjee is also equipped with all the above-mentioned facilities and educational displays in a small hall.

There are many places in The Great Himalayan National Park of religious importance. The ecozone villages of Lapah and Ghat Seri have sacred tree groves and all the villages have a temple. Most of the temples include architectural interests like the Pagoda style temple of Manu Rishi, the temples of Gushaini and Galiard with wooden carvings. The pilgrimage sites that can be visited when in the park are the Raktisar, Hanskund and the Sirikhand Mahadev.

Thus, the park is first on the wish list of a tourist while touring the state of Himachal Pradesh. With much importance attached to it along with the wildlife, it has acquired great importance in the tourism area of the state. The park is a must visit place and entertains all to the fullest.
