Panchgani is a hill station in the Krishna valley in the Satara district of Maharashtra. The town lies on the five hills at an altitude of 1334 m and derives its name from the five hills. Panchgani lies 38 km on the highway from Mahabaleshwar to Pune. It is the largest producer of strawberries in India.
