Taj Connemara Chennai has 150 centrally air-conditioned rooms including nine suites with a refreshing mix of style and spacious comfort. One can choose between Standard Rooms Deluxe Rooms, Executive Rooms and Suites depending on the facilities associated with these rooms. The rooms are of excellent standards and furnished to provide excellent comfort to the guests. Standard Rooms are elegantly appointed, centrally air-conditioned; with international direct dial facility, personal safe, channel music, colour television with satellite programmes, 24 hour room service and laundry service. Some of the rooms face the pool. While Executive Rooms have large worktable, personal safe, in-room fax on request, including complimentary Continental breakfast and airport pickup. Old World Rooms are large pool-facing colonial style rooms. Lord Connemara Suite is a Presidential Suite with 2 bedrooms, private courtyard and its own Jacuzzi.
Dining
There are a host of dining options at the hotel. The Verandah is the scenic 24-hour coffee shop which serves Indian, Continental, Chinese and Thai food with a live band in the evenings. The Residents lounge serves a collection of tea, coffee and snacks while the Bar is an all time favourite with the guests. The Raintree is an ethnic, open-air restaurant serving Chettinad cuisine from Tamil Nadu. It is only open for dinner, with classical dance performances.
