The history of the States of India dates back to the times when the first Aryan tribes came here around 1500 BC. The Indian states have flourished in a variety of ways and respects under the patronage of various rulers. While some rulers advocated the growth and prosperity in the arts and culture zones, some others propagated great economic development and expansion. Yet, there was a third category of rulers who were valiant heroes of the past and brought warfare and combating techniques to a new level and added in increasing the size and administration of the particular States of India, under their rule.
