How to reach : Local buses and metered taxis connect Swabhumi to other parts of Kolkata. One can also avail the metro underground rail. Local trains from Sealdah too are good options wherein you have to disembark at Ultadanga Railway station.

At Karigar Haat which literally means "The abode of craftsman" is plain simple charming. You will find artisans with their wares ready for selling. This place is a replica of the bazaar during the times of yore. You can interact with the artisans and chances are that you will be provided with a fascinating insight into their lifestyle and culture. The courtyard has an exclusive music zone from where village musicians play traditional music with sitar, tabla and a wide range of traditional Indian musical instruments.
