Gwalior city is located in the central state of Madhya Pradesh. Saint Gwalipa cured the king of Kadhwaha, Raja Suraj Sen from the deadly disease leprosy. So Suraj Sen formed the city of Gwalior on the name of the sage Gwalipa. So it is very convenient for tourists even to travel by rail. Roads that connect Gwalior city to other surrounding cities are well developed. As well as distance between Gwalior city and adjoining cities is not much. Agra is just 118 km from Gwalior city, while Delhi and Jaipur are 321 km and 350 km respectively from city of Gwalior.
