Rajastan continues its popularity as the world's best tourist spot.

In a recent travel survey carried out by an international travel organization the state of Rajasthan made it to the top three among the favorite tourist destinations of the world. Inspite of recession last year saw an annual average of 6 lakh foreign tourists making their inroads in this state. Its estimated that more that 125 lakh domestic travelers came to visit Jaipur.

Other cities of Rajasthan which too witnessed phenomenal tourist influx were Jaisalmer with 1.32 lakh domestic visitors and Udaipur with more than 1.5 lakh foreign tourists. In terms of popularity Mt. Abu and the magnifiecient sculptures of Dilwara scored the highest as they still continue to allure both domestic and foreign travelers.
