The Ansupa Lake is a lake on the left bank of the Mahanadi, opposite Banki in Cuttack district, Orissa, India. Ansupa Lake in Banki is 70 km from the city of Cuttack which also acts as a shelter for the migratory birds in the wintry weather season. It is a fresh water lake situated amidst the Saranda Hills and enclosed by bamboo tree greenery and mango trees. To visitor's delight, there is boating and fishing facilities in the Ansupa Lake.

Orissa state has a typical weather, neither too hot nor too cold. The state witness 150 cm of average rainfall. Ansupa Lake is now receiving a facelift. Because of good efforts of the local administration's scheme, the state government of Orissa lately gave an aid of Rs 6.41 crores for the lake. Steps would soon be taken to reposition the openings of the Ansupa Lake near Kanulanala, which would connect the lagoon with river Mahanadi. After the transformation, Ansupa Lake would be a main eco-tourism attraction, and the area and would get a boost for fishery as well.
This eye-catching tourist attraction is about 35 km from Bhubaneshwar. There are many hotels and guesthouses in the vicinity of the lake. There is local transportation by which you can reach to the lake sides. The Bhubaneshwar and Cuttack cities are well connected by rail, road and air. Bhubaneshwar has an international airport.
