Situated at a distance of 27 km from Ajmer, the Roopgarh Fort is an important place of heritage. The Taragarh Fort is another fort with a rich heritage near Ajmer. Ajaypal Chauhan constructed the Taragarh Fort in the 14th century. Situated on a steep hill, the place is famous for its quaint constructions. Also called the 'star fort', it can be reached by means of a serpentine route.

Kishangarh, a quaint little hamlet just 27 km from Ajmer, is famous for its traditional mini paintings. It has produced a number of talented artists who have left behind their legacy in the form of mini paintings.

The historic town of Pushkar near Ajmer finds its name and reference in the holy Ramayana. Hindus consider this place as one of the most sacred places in India. The world-renowned Pushkar Lake here is surrounded by 52 bathing ghats. People from all over India and abroad gather here every year to attend the famous Pushkar Festival.
