The dialects of Rajasthan vary from district to district. Rajasthan is characterized by rich linguistic diversity. Hindi is the official language of Rajasthan, and majority of the people in Rajasthan speaks various dialects of Hindi. These dialects can be clubbed together under Rajasthani.

Bagri
Dhundhari
Marwari

Wagri
Mewari.
Most of these dialects are mainly spoken in Rajasthan as well as in Haryana, Punjab and Gujarat. Some of the known minor dialects of Rajasthani language are Goaria, Dhatki, Loarki, Thali, Romany, Gade Lohar, Sansiboli, Malvi, Gujari or Gojari and Nimadi.
Rajasthani contains a vast literature written in different genres dating back to 1000 AD. The modern Rajasthani literature started with the works of Suryamal Misran. His most important works include the Vir Satsai and the Vansa Bhaskara. The Vir Satsai contains a collection of hundreds of couples. The Vans Bhaskar describes about the Rajput princes who ruled over Rajputana during the lifetime of the poet.

The people around Jodhpur communicate in Marwari which is one of the most commonly spoken dialects in Rajasthan. It is also prevalent in Barmer, Pali, Jalore, Udaipur, Sirohi, Ajmer, Jalore, Chittorgarh and Bhilwara, and also in some pockets of the districts like Bikaner, Ganganagar, Nagaur, Sikar, Churu and Jhunjhunu.

You will find the Mewari speaking communities in and around Mewar that includes Chittorgarh, Bilwara and Udaipur. Bikaneri and Bagri are some of the other variations of this dialect.
Dhundhari is a widely spoken Rajasthani dialect. It is a primary language of communication in Jaipur, Bundi, Tonk, Kota, Jhalawar, Ajmer and Kishangarh. Mewati is the dialect of Mewat, which takes the form of Braja Bhasa in the district of Bharatpur. The derivative of Braja Bhasha, Dang, is spoken in Sawai Madhopur and Karauli. Bundeli is the dialect of Jhalawar. Southern Kota Kishangarhi is prevalent in Kishangarh and Ajmeri is predominant in Ajmer.
Another Rajasthani dialect, Bhili, is common in Udaipur and Southern Merwara. Its variant, Bagria, is the language of the Bhils. It is common in Dungarpur and Banswara. Malvi is predominant in the districts of Jhalawar and Kota.
