Palace on Wheels is a royal experience, a journey that is much more than a comfortable train ride. Palace on Wheels makes you experience the best of Indian hospitality and heritage and takes you through Agra, Delhi and the royal Rajasthan, which includes Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Sawai Madhopur, Chattaurgarh, Bharatpur and Udaipur.
On Palace on Wheels, you will be provided with a royal treatment, which includes great comforts and luxury with personalized service by Khidmatgars. Add to this are wall-to-wall carpeting, lounge, well-stocked bars and two dining cars serving extravagant cuisine on board, which make your journey an experience to savour and make you feel like a Maharaja of yesteryears. The train comprises of 14 fully air-conditioned deluxe saloons and two opulent restaurants named Maharaja and Maharani, which serve authentic Chinese, Continental and Rajasthani cuisines. There are 52 rooms in the train, allocated to single, double and triple occupancies. Needless to say all the rooms have attached bathrooms/toilets.

The train chugs out of Delhi cantonment on a weeklong dash through Rajasthan every Wednesday night. The train travels in the night and the day is reserved for sightseeing. The moment you board the train, attendants in turban will take charge of your comforts. They will assign you your coupes and detail you with all the amenities that are on board. The train moves by night and arrives at each sunrise to a new destination, where new experiences lie ahead.
Palace on Wheels takes you to Jaipur, which is popularly referred to as the Pink City. This is the capital of Rajasthan. The journey also takes you to Chittaurgarh, famed for its Chittaurgarh Fort; Udaipur with its charming lakes and lake palaces; Sawai Madhopur, famed for its Ranthambore National Park; Jaisalmer, veritably the jewel of the desert; the majestic stronghold of Jodhpur; Bharatpur with its amazing bird sanctuary; the red stone city of Fatehpur Sikri; and of course the indispensable trip to Taj Mahal in Agra - one of the seven wonders of the world and an expression of undying love.
