Allahabad airport is known as Bamrauli Airport and it is 12 km from Allahabad. Only domestic flights operate from this airport. Flights to Allahabad is made available by Jet Lite of Air Sahara that connects the city from Delhi and Kolkata. Previously this flight was available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, but from August 2006 these flights can be availed on all the days of the week.

From Allahabad, Air India's flight to Khajuraho is also available for passengers. Agra is accessible by many different types of airlines. Airports near Allahabad can be found in Varanasi which is about 147 km away, and will take about 2.5 hours to reach by road on NH-2; the other airport is at Lucknow and it is about 210 km apart from Allahabad. You can get a number of flights to Agra, Bhubaneshwar, Bombay, Delhi, Khajuraho and Lucknow from Varanasi airport.

One can fly to Varanasi, Delhi or Lucknow from other cities and take a flight to Allahabad. But please search for proper options when you want a flight to Allahabad from these cities, to avoid any type of inconvenience. If traveling by flight is not possible for you, you can travel by rail or roads as well to reach Allahabad. You can use train, hire private taxis or make use of state transport buses to reach your destination.
