Camel's Back Road

Mussoorie is called the 'Queen of the Hills' due to its wonderful location in the foothills of the Himalayas. It is situated in the Uttaranchal state of India and stands amidst the lush green Garhwal Hills. Mussoorie is very popular for its pleasant climate all round the year. The town gets its name from Mansur shrub that is commonly found in this hill town. Various beautiful spots like Camel's Back Road and many others are places on interest in the town.

Camel's Back Road is about 3 km long, which starts from Kulri Bazar and ends at Library Bazar. This road takes its name from mountain outcrop which has taken the shape of a camel's hump. This place is famous for the sunset view that it offers to tourists. This road is seen from Mussoorie Public School. It is a best place to have a peaceful walk in the evening. Horse ride on this road is also an exciting experience.
