Ranikhet is a quaint hill resort, blessed with pristine natural beauty. It is located in the state of Uttaranchal in India. Ranikhet literally means the ‘Queen’s field’. Hera Khan Temple and Ashram are located near Chinianaula village, at an approximate distance of 4 km from Ranikhet. Baba Hera Khan was a Hindu saint who died in 1984 and the marble temple was built here as far his wishes. The temple is surrounded by beautiful gardens. He has many followers and hence the temple and ashram are well maintained and worth visiting. Tourists can reach this temple by taxi or bus. You can even use the jeeps available in the town for local transportation.
