Chaturbhuja Mandir – A Temple of Lord Vishnu | Madhya
Pradesh abbreviated to MP is the centermost state of India. Also called
as the "Heart of India" this central region of our country absorbs the oldest
portion of the Indian subcontinent. Bhopal is the capital city of this state in
central India. As the state is in the central region of the country so it got
this name as Madhya Pradesh. “Madhya” means “middle” in Hindi language. Being
the largest state in India, Madhya Pradesh is twice as large as UK. Only recently,
Madhya Pradesh has been bifurcated to form a new state named “Chhattisgarh”.
