Darjeeling, the Dream-land of the East', is one of the most beautiful hill stations of the India. It is located at 90 km from Bagdogra of West Bengal. The viceroy of India used to visit Darjeeling at the start of summer every year. Darjeeling is also known for its tea plantation, which was started from the year 1840. The exotic beauty of Kanchanjunga peaks can be enjoyed while boating in the Sumendu Lake. Rameetay Dara and Deosi Dara are other beautiful hilltops near the lake. Kalimpong is a beautiful hill station in the foothills of the great Himalaya. Lush green forests, snow covered peaks makes it most attractive and pleasant hill station of West Bengal. Before 1865, it was under control of Bhutan, but later the British developed it as a center of wool trade with Tibet. Gumpas, temples, churches, monks and missionaries depicts a healthy combination of Buddhism, Hinduism and Christianity.

Pedong, Lava, Lolegaon, St. Theresa Church and Zong Dog Palri Fo-Brang Monasteryu are the main excursion tours of Kalimpong hill station. Trekking via Neora National Park is the real experience of elite flora and fauna. The remote waterfalls of Richi Valley are the most memorable experience.
